Iron - 18
Iron Saturation - 4
Ferritin - 5
Hemoglobin - 9
Hematocrit - 30.7
What exactly does this mean? I saw my hemotologist yesterday and they had labs drawn but the results werent available until this morning. He prescibed iron pills of 150mg for the low hemoglobin.
Am I thal minor "normal" or do I need improvement?

All your iron numbers are below normal, so it's likely you are iron deficient. A one month trial should tell you if the iron supplement is working, as your Hb and iron numbers should all rise.
