I just saw a commercial for a testosterone product called axiron, one of the side affects of it is increased red blood cell count.
Do you think for a male this medication could possibly help with thal. Red blood cell count?
You know some medications are made for one thing but end up being used or help for another like Viagra for example.

It can have that side effect, but I do not believe that it is predictable and it may result in red cells being produced outside the bone marrow, in places like the liver, where it does not help.

Okay thanks for the insight.
