Title: Price of HLA testing

What is the cost of HLA testing in the US ? If anybody did it would they please let me know roughly how much the bill is and how much is the patient responsibility after it goes through insurance?

Also how much does it roughly cost it overseas...anywhere in Europe or Asia?

I do not know the cost but if you are in the US, you should call your insurance and the lab that does the test directly and find out....there are so many fine prints for a insurance claim and so many different ways hospitals and labs bill that the amount is never the same from person to person. so a call directly to them is the best way to know what it will cost you. Just my thought...

I guess we all know that Health care in the state costs a lot. In my opinion, the billing is so complicated. My suggestion is to get the precise billing code from your provider and contact your insurance using that billing code.
