Title: Thal Minor
Post by: Momofyaqub on June 09, 2014, 06:30:23 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm a thal minor and very tired all the time. I can never get enough sleep. Are there any  vitamins I can take to help out with fatigue??

momofyaqub,

I would suggest vitamin C, vitamin D, and B complex.  You can also try a multivitamin containing all of these.  It's a good idea to increase hydration and add exercise into your routine.  A daily vigorous walk actually fights fatigue if you incorporate it into your daily routine.

Wheat grass and folic acid may also be helpful.

You may ask your doctor to check your thyroid, and actual iron stores to rule out any other causes of fatigue.

Hope you feel rested and more energetic soon,

Sharmin

for B vits, I have to get methylated B12. I was getting shots for a while until I got stronger then switched to pill. testing shows I absorb the pills ok.

I don't know if I'm a thal yet, PS. waiting to see a specialist.
