Title: b9 for beta T minor ?
Post by: Lunar on April 20, 2015, 08:32:36 PM
Hi,
I was diagnosed with beta thalassemia minor (with Microcytosis) when I was young. Today at 37 I often feel extremely tired and have lot of difficulty to support stress.

Can B9 specifically, help with my thalassemia ? I read that B9 is recommended for MACROcytosis, not Microcytosis as I have.
I made several blood test, and once I had a deficit in folate (see attached). but this was NOT confirmed in other blood tests where it was normal.

Please advise.

I attached a file with my analysis. Sorry it's not in english but i'm sure people used to this will understand. Any nutritional advice is welcome.
