My Iron is creeping back up and having problems with side effects, I would like to try Ferriprox but my doctor wants me to officially fail treatment with the other chelator before trying that one.
Is there any way I could try it Ferriprox, other than paying big money to start over with a new doctor? Are there places to order it online or studies? Or even an off label use to persuade my current doctor?

Can you please tell us where you do live? Which country.

You're pretty much reliant on doctors for the prescriptions. Where are you being treated?

Your impatience aside, it is not possible to buy any prescription drug without a prescription. Unless you find a doctor to prescribe Ferriprox, you won't be able to try it and doctors in the US tend to be slow about prescribing Ferriprox because it once had an undeserved bad reputation, due to the actions of one doctor who successfully passed herself off as a martyr for many years.
What are you currently using to chelate, what is your weight and the chelator dose and what type of side effects are you having?
