Title: Anyone in Indy?

Hi, I'm Rachel, and I have Beta Thalassemia Minor. I live in the United States, Indiana, near Indianapolis. I'm curious whether anyone in my area has thalassemia. I only found out that I had it three years ago and could really use a support group. I would also like to find out if anyone knows a good doctor to treat symptoms in my area. As I'm sure many of you know, doctors say it's asymptomatic. Either they are wrong, or I have some other similar problem with B12 like pernicious anemia.
