Title: Memorization
Post by: Manal on November 18, 2006, 02:24:16 AM
Hi

Is it difficult for thal to memorize? I am asking this because i feel that it is hard for my son to memorize quickly ( for example, songs, verses from Quran,....etc ). He memorizes but not very fast.

Could anemia be a reason? Or that he is not concentrating well especially that he keeps on playing while being taught

Has anyone expierenced this ?

Manal

Hi Manaal,

It is normal for some kids to behave like that. My sister has two sons; she tries her best to teach the elder one but he won't concentrate, while the little one who is in her lap learns what the other one was supposed to learn!!  :biggrin

Take care, Peace!

I agree with Sajid. Young boys would much rather be running and jumping and pretending they're jedi knights or ninjas than memorizing anything. For that matter, so would a lot of young girls. :biggrin
Kids want to be kids. Be happy that your son is so active. It is a wonderful indicator of the current state of his thal and also increases the efficiency of his blood.
