Title: decrease iron after bmt

any body have experience, after bmt, can consume IP 6 and wheat grass to decrease the ferritin ? IP 6 have any effect to bmt can cause late rejection ?

Those are both safe to use. They won't cause rejection. Rejection only happens when the immune cells from the donor see the recipient’s body as foreign.

thanks andi for this advice... i will try to start combine IP 6 and wheat grass.

There is no need for chelation if the Ferritin is less than 2k post BMT. My child's Ferritin was 1600 post BMT and it has come down to less than 400 in about a year post transplant.
