Hi all,
I had mentioned before that Little Miss A Z-score came -3.7 last year and the doctors were concerned that she may develop severe osteoporosis. She was told to do rope skipping everyday (300 times) on a hard floor. We did not change anything (same dose of calcium and vitamin D) and made sure she skip rope everyday.
Little Miss A Z-score improved dramatically to -2.7 in 10 months. Our doctor believes and recommends that every thal should skip rope to maintain healthy bones. In her experience, she has seen marked improvement in bone density.
Just sharing the thought.

Exercise is one of the most important things thals can do to strengthen bone. Good to know skipping rope is helping. It is a great option for kids.
