Title: Yellow tinged skin?

Latley, I've noticed that my skin is turning yellow-ish. My dad has minor thalassemia and his eyes always look yellow. Even my my mother notic how yellow I looked on day. I becoming more self consious now because I look sick!

This is related to the bilirubin level and is fairly common on thals. The higher turnover of red blood cells causes more bilirubin to be produced. Have you tried taking magnesium? That can sometimes help lower the turnover of red cells.

I've never tried taking magnesium? Is it in a tablet form?

Yes, magnesium is found in tablet form. I take 500 mg daily.
