Is she using a chelation drug?

Dear Andy Sir,
She is taking Defrijet (750 mg) daily. deferasirox by Sun Pharma.

That is the same drug as Exjade, which has a history of raising liver values. Best thing to do is stop chelation for a couple days. Make sure the child is always well hydrated. I cannot stress that enough. When you restart the chelator, try splitting the dose, so part is taken in the morning and the rest later in the day. This makes it easier on the liver. I would also suggest that she take either milk thistle capsules or the supplement, Liv 52. Both are very good for the liver and will help keep these levels down. There may be some mild nausea when first starting milk thistle, but this passes after a couple days.
