Title: Jadenu Split Dose
Post by: Canadian_Family on March 08, 2017, 09:02:41 PM
Hi,

I am not sure if we ever discussed splitting the dose for Jadenu or may be we have, so I apologize for not keeping up to date with the topic already discussed. Since Little Miss A is on Jadenu for the last 5-6 months, we have been thinking to split dose. Please advise.

For Exjade /Generic Exjade (Asunra) it woks, so i believe it should work for Jadenu as well. We havent tried with Jadenu but if anyone doing please comment.

To Can.Fam. I've started Jadenu 3 months ago and at the beginning, for the first weeks, I did split the dose because of some gastrointestinal problems. It worked without any problems. Besides, I have never heard that we should not do that. The point is we dont have to do it but if it works better for some reason there is no problem so go ahead...
Jadenu is efective about some 18 hours so with split the dosis one could be covered full 24/7

I concur. It's the way to get full 24 hour chelation.
