Hello,
We will be moving to New Jersey soon. Can anyone recommend a doctor or center that they like in New Jersey? My daughter is 4 with Beta Thal Major. I am hoping for a child-friendly atmosphere. She likes going to the one here in Texas because they treat her very nicely and give her toys and she gets to order her lunch from a menu. These small things makes a big difference for her and make the pain less. I am hoping to find something like this in New Jersey.
Thanks
Mom of I

The closest real thal center is in Philadelphia at CHOP. Eileen Scott at CAF can tell you if there's a more local hospital for ongoing treatment, but CHOP would be the center for annuals visits at the least.

MomI, my daughter, who is now almost 7, has been going to CHOP since she was 3 months. We live in Northern New Jersey. If you have any questions or need any help please email me...
