Hi everyone. I know I'm getting behind, but I have been knocked out of commission by my little cat, who escaped through a screen and wasn't found until the next day in my neighbor's garage. When I finally caught her, she bit me very deep at the bottom of my hand at the wrist. Turns out that cat bites are very serious and I landed in the hospital for two days of IV antibiotics. I have not been able to use my hand and am now only getting some strength back in the hand. Typing takes it out of me, so that is restricted at the moment. I should be back soon.

Get well soon Andy. :console
Though I musst say, I Love Cats... and I miss my Cat (he past long ago... never been able to have another)

Get well soon Andy. Wish you a speedy recovery. Strange how wiered can pets behave at times.

I'm starting to feel much better. My wrist is still slightly sore and I am starting to recover from the antibiotic fog now that I finally stopped taking them.
Thanks for your thoughts. The cat got back to normal a lot quicker than me. Poor thing was cared to death being outside.

She's a little black cat, one of three siblings born in our yard. All three now live indoors. She was trapped when she was about 6 months old and brought inside. One of her brothers walked in our front door...twice. He escaped after the first time. Their other brother lived outside for two years as a feral cat but came to us seeking help after he was attacked and had a chunk bitten out of his rear. He is now the most domestic of the three.

Thanks Zahra. The hand and wrist are much better, although there is still some weakness in the wrist. I'm still trying to restore my system after the antibiotics.

Dear Andy, i hope your hands heals quickly. So nice you took in the three cats.

Thank you for helping the cats , I love all kinds of fur babies and sometimes it takes a lot from us but it is worthy :biggrin

My hand and wrist are finally healed. The skin itself still suffers a bit from the cellulitis. Thank you for your concern.

We have 5 feral cats we have taken in. I'd bring another in if she would cooperate. She's the mom of one of the cats we have inside and comes by every day for her food.
