Post by: VB on November 12, 2022, 01:36:24 PM
Hello everyone,

I believe Andy recommends l-methylfolate form of folic acid. Can someone share which brand of l-methylfolate is working well for them ?

thanks,
VB

I like life extension or Jarrow brands, Now also good, any will likely do though.

Yes, large doses are only recommended if it is L-methylfolate, as the body cannot process large amounts of folic acid. For reference, I am taking 8000 mcg daily to combat the fatigue I get from my bad thyroid. It is the only way I can make it past 4 pm at work.

I use Life Extension folate. I also use their magnesium.
