Hello Vic
Resveratrol are dietry supplements pills. This substance is found in the skin fo red grapes and seeds and some studies indicate that it increases the fetal HB.
Vic you can find all the details in a post called '' Red Grapes '' in the section of '' working towards a cure''
Read it and if you have any questions, please ask

Manal,
Did you ever get your son tested for XMN Polymorphism? Based on my understanding this test detects the presence of gamma gene variation...if the test gets positive results(+ / +) then it is found to be helpful in generating fetal haemoglobin(Hb-F).
I hope that resveratrol works for your son.

Sorry Hallu, i didn't see your post except now. No i didn't do this test, i will ask about it and let you know.
Dear guys
Before i started the resveratrol, i did HPLC and the HB F was 13%, now and after 82 days from taking it daily, The Hb F is 14.4%.
Although the total HB didn't increase ( maybe due to fever that i mentioned in another post)
Anyway, i wanted to update you and i am still giving him the resveratrol
