Cezar send me this link and I am so happy I could burst. Ady was very special to Lisa and we did everything we could to keep them in New Zealand. A very special thanks to Miaki and Sally for all their help in this mater. Yes, we do make good things happen here. :biggrin

The tribunal decided the family could remain in New Zealand because Adrian's health was at risk if he was sent back.
The decision says: "We accept that prioritising and allocating funds for healthcare in New Zealand are indeed matters of serious public concern.
"However...the humanitarian factors in this particular case outweigh any of these other considerations."
This brought tears of happiness to my eyes. Ady's little sister is named after Lisa.

I haven't read it. If you want I can delete it. I found it with luck, because I know only European Databanks with such things.

Yes, that was the second trial. I am talking to Cezar now and the new trial began on March 10 and will continue in April. So far it has been found that the government overestimated the cost of desferal by 10 times. Also, the government is telling them that there is a thal association in Romania that will help them but this association is a scam and exists only to rip people off. Hopefully these facts will have some weigh with the judge. Ady is doing very well in New Zealand and a return to Romania would be detrimental to his health. Even the blood supply cannot be guaranteed as safe in Romania. I will keep the group updated on this case.
