Hi All,
Hope its not to much of a personal question but was just curious is there any thal major patients out there who have had more than 1 child? im curious as to how they are doing and how they find it coping with thal and kids,if anyone can relate please post answers! Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Miaki has more than one child...But not 100% sure. You could PM her.

Miaki has only one child. However, our member, artemisbaby, Katerina from Germany has two children and you can see them in a photo Kat posted at our MSN group, at
http://groups.msn.com/ThalassemiaPatientsandFriends/thalpatientsalbum.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=138
Katerina is an exceptional role model for anyone. She is a wife and mom, is very active in the international thalassemia organizations, is a medical student...and, oh yeah...a thal major.
Don't ever let yourself think you can't do something because you have thal. The sky's the limit. :wink

Thanks for the clarification, Capt. Thal! :cheer

My friend Michelle, member name michelle0630, has Thal Major and two biological children. You can private message her if you'd like. I don't know if she reads all the posts here, so that may be a better way to get in touch with her. :)
Here is Michelle's member profile, in case anyone wants to PM her. :smileblue
