Can thal minors also be subject to iron overload?

Hi Jade,

Yes, it is possible that minors get iron overloaded from the extra iron when their Hb is too low and the body absorbs more iron from food via guts compared to normal Hb levels.

Yes. It is more common with alpha thal minors as far as my knowledge goes.
