Hey there - just wanted to let you know that the Cooley's Anemia Foundation is starting a new bi-weekly (every other Monday) online comic strip that involves characters with thalassemia and their families. The first strip is up now and can be found at:

Well thalpals, what do you think of a comic strip called "Thalpals"? As the owner of a comic book store, I'm kinda partial to the idea. What about you?

Welcome back Craig! That's really good idea Andy and Umair......... It would help the youngsters cope up with situations like chelating and blood transfusions........ not to mention laboratory tests and check-ups to their hematologist. This would help them relate their feelings towards these things.....and see it as there is hope and give them strength into facing this (disorder) everyday! :wink

Andy,
Little A is all over your comic idea!! He spends much of his time making little comic books - he would love any comics that you would create.

There seems to be some misunderstanding about the Thal pals comic strip. This is Craig's project and I don't have anything to do with it other than offering support. I do like the ideas people are suggesting and maybe Craig can take a look at them. I do like the idea of Big A and little A making an appearance. :biggrin

Little A is certainly with you on that one Big A :)
