Title: Does exercise raise hemoglobin in thalassemics?

I read that exercise can raise your hemoglobin levels. Its that also true for people with thalassemia beta minor?

I don't know if exercise could have any effect on the actual hemoglobin level in thals, but is does help to optimize the efficiency of oxygen in the body, so the net effect is similar.

And it does give you energy and less fatigue.

Really? I did not know. It is hard to keep moving with a low hgb. As for the oxygen, it keeps me busy. I will explain that another time.
