I think that leg pain not correlated with thal minor.
Best wishes.

It might be something we call normally "growing pains".
Does it happen at a particular night? More like in at the night or so?

Leg pains are quite common in children that age. Massage and gentle stretching of the legs is helpful.

Do you know the child's hemoglobin level?

I'm 26 and have known I've had thal minor most of my life. When I was little I got terrible growing pains that would leave me in tears. I remember having to be carried off to bed. Poor little thing, I feel for her. Not sure if its related but I still do get these 'growing pains' and I'm pretty sure (not as severe), Ive stopped growing! So it could be.. I'm pretty sure any doc would just say its growing pains tho. Warm bath would help.. Hope she gets some answers soon
