I hope I can find a way to go. The cost to attend is an issue. The TIF conferences present a unique opportunity for me to make contacts, learn from the best doctors and researchers, and meet the people whose lives I have tried to help. I hope anyone who is able to attend, does so.

Lena:
I may come, too, Andy. By the way, I met this weekend our Greek representative at the TIF Board of Directors and told her about thalpal. I think it is worthy to talk over about this site and spread the word.

Thanks Lena. I am finding that after many years of hard work, we are seeing thalpal recognized by many thal related organizations as their friend and even partner in one instance. The goal of reaching out to the entire thal world is more a reality every day. I find there is no substitute for the conferences in terms of making contacts and learning about the latest developments in treatment. I missed the TIF Turkey conference but I truly hope that this next one will be possible for me.
