I always fall short of words to appreciate what you have done for so many thal patients around the world. The least we can do is help raise money to make such useful trips possible. I have your address on one of the posts, I will mail a cheque donation. I am certain your trip to this conference is going to be useful for all of us.

As things currently stand, patients will not be allowed into the scientific programs. We went through this in Singapore and I will not go through it again. Until TIF changes their minds and their attitude, I cannot endorse this conference and will not plan on attending. The conferences have to be about more than sight seeing and partying. Until TIF takes a stand in favor of the rights of patients, I will not support TIF.

Lena:
I agree with you, Andy. Unless we are allowed to attend, there is no reason for us to go. If we want to stroll around for tourism, we do it on our own.
