Back after Hajj
« on: January 05, 2008, 05:42:13 AM »
Alhamdolillah i am back in good shape and health after performing Hajj. By the grace of almighty, i didn't needed blood transfusion during my trip of 22 days. Normally my transfusion gap is 18 days but this time, when i had my Hb checked, it was 10 g after 18 days. I don't know what others think of it, but i call it a miracle and blessing of Allah. Despite of all the stressful days of Hajj, in which i approx walked 50+ kilometers without proper sleep and meal, i never felt weakness or even a minor pain in legs. I really really enjoyed this event.

Alhamdulillah...I envy you Tariq because you are able to perform the Hajj without any trouble. For me i'd say it's gods will that your HB is still high and it shows that Allah is mercy for the fithful.

I want to do the Hajj too but have my own worries. Blood is my concern and the long and tiring journey is a challange. After reading your expirience, it shows that with God's will, anything can happen.

What did you pray for in front of the Kaabah?

To tell u the truth, when someone first sees Holy Kaaba, he/she looses control of mind and forget everything he wanted to say. But i tried my best and prayed for my and my parents health and good fortune and forgiveness of my elder brother Hamza who departed from this world in August 07.
During my stay there, i prayed again and again for health of all Thals and for cure of thalassemia.

Thank you for telling Mariam!
Here on the news it was told that it was less crowed due bad weather and bad economy. My friends grandparents went two years ago. I only remember the presents they bought for their family.
It was a safe and good journey?
